Stepping Stones Learning Academy

An educational experience inside and outside the classroom!

Stepping Stones Learning Academy and Stepping Stones Early Learning Center strive to provide students, ages 2 through 12th grade, with a comprehensive curriculum including music, art, drama and Spanish.  Supplementing the curriculum with outside classroom learning allows us to foster students' cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.

Imagine spleunking in the underground caves of Sweetwater, Tennessee, walking the Freedom Trail in Boston, swimming with dolphins in Florida and white water rafting in West Virginia; these are just some of the educational opportunities the upper grades have had the option of experiencing.          

Stepping Stones is not only approved by the Maryland State Department of Education, but also employs qualified staff with a low teacher:student ratio, enabling the students to receive the individualized attention they need for optimal growth.  In addition, the early childhood department provides youngsters with early learning enrichment, developmentally appropriate curriculum and school preparation skills as dictated by the Maryland Model of School Readiness Standards.
